Adding a Binder
Binders are one of the building blocks of C8. They store guidance, videos, images, and other items. You can read more about binders here.
There are two types of folders in C8: binders and directories. They store different kinds of content. Add a directory if you want the folder to contain subfolders; add a binder to hold individual videos, documents, and other items.

To add a binder, make sure that admin mode is enabled.
- Go to the section where you would like to add the binder
- Press Add binder / directory
- Type in the Binder Name in the pop-up
- (Optional) Type in a Short description with additional information
- Select the binder's owner(s) using the Owners drop-down menu. If needed, you can add new owner(s)
- (Optional) Select the binder's content type, specialty, subspecialty, target audience(s), and site(s)*
- Press Create
* Selecting a binder's site(s) is only available if your institution uses site management.
