Expiration date

All items in your knowledge base have an expiration date. An item's expiration date is automatically set to one year after its creation. An item’s owner will get an email right before its expiration date, so they know to extend it, update it, or delete it. This helps us make sure your content stays up to date.

If an owner lets an item expire, it will stay visible for thirty more days. After thirty days, users will no longer be able to see it. Don’t fret — it will stay visible to administrators, and you can easily extend the expiration date to bring it back.
