Filtering Contacts

You can easily filter contacts in C8 by multiple profile fields.

Good to know: You can filter users by department, profession, role, level of training, rotation, division, specialty, and/or location. You can filter other contacts by department and workspace (if your organization has multiple workspaces).

Using Your Mobile or Tablet Device:

  1. Download our mobile app if you haven’t already
  2. Open the app and log in
  3. Open contacts
  4. Tap the filter button in the upper-right corner of your screen
  5. Tap on a department, profession, role, or other listed field to filter. You can filter by multiple fields For example, you could filter to only see fellows in the Primary Care department).
  6. Select Done

Good to know: To remove filters, tap on the filter button again. Select Clear all and then Done.

Using Your Computer:

  1. Log in to C8 Health using our WebApp
  2. Open contacts
  3. Click on the filter icon next to a relevant column name, like role or department. You may have to side scroll to see the column
  4. Select the options you want to include in the filter in the pop-up you want to appear. You can select mutliple options, such as both residents and chief residents. You can use the search bar to search within the filter options. Click reset to remove all filters if needed.
  5. Click OK when done
  6. If you want to filter by an additional column, repeat steps 2-4 for that column

To remove a filter, click on the filter button next to a column name. Select Reset and then OK
