Adding customizable banners

You can add a customizable banner for your C8 homepage on mobile and web. To add a banner, please reach out to us.

General Design Guidelines

• File Format: PNG or JPEG (optimized for web)
• Resolution: 72 DPI (web standard)
• Color Mode: RGB
• Max File Size: Keep files lightweight (<1 MB) to ensure fast loading on all devices.

Mobile App Banner

• Dimensions: 600px (width) x 550px (height)
• Display Behavior: Fully displayed with no cropping.
• Design Recommendations:
  • Center all critical elements (text, logos, CTAs) for visual balance
  • Use padding of at least 30px around text or logos for a clean look
  • Keep text minimal for better readability on smaller screens.

Web App Banner

• Dimensions: 2200px (width) x 180px (height)
• Safe Content Area: 720px wide, centered horizontally.
• Cropping Behavior:
  • Content outside the safe area (740px on both sides) may be cropped depending on screen size
  • Use these side areas for decorative elements or background designs that won’t affect the message if cut off.
• Design Recommendations:
  • Place key text, logos, and CTAs within the safe 720px center area
  • Ensure that decorative elements outside the safe area blend smoothly with the central content.

Banner links

You can choose whether to have banners link to a specific URL. If you add a link, whenever people click on the banner, they will open the link. You can link to a C8 item or to another website.
