Adding an External Link

You can link to external websites in your knowledge base to collect best practices from even more sources.

To add a link to external content, make sure admin mode is turned on.

  1. Open the binder where you want the link to be added. If you need to create a binder for it, see our guide here
  2. Click Add New Item
  3. Select Add external link
  4. Enter the website’s URL in the pop-up that appears
  5. Press Upload
  6. Add a title in the Knowledge Item field of the new pop-up
  7. (Optional) Change any other fields in the new pop-up (like owner(s), validation date, content type, specialty, subspecialty, target audience, keywords, expiration date and featured image)
  8. Choose whether to notify your team with the slider at the top
  9. Click Save (the blue button, top right)
