Moving Checklist Items

These are the steps to move a checklist item to a different checklist. For the steps to change the order of items within a checklist, click here.


To move a checklist item, make sure admin mode is turned on.

  1. Open the item’s current checklist
  2. Click the Move button next to the item
  3. Type in the name of the checklist you want to move it to in the New Path field. The location will be listed from that checklist outward to its section and/or directory

For example, to move a checklist item to a checklist named “Patient Security Checks” in a “Pre-Anesthesia Checklists” section you would select

  • Patient Security Checks | Pre-Anesthesia Checklists
  1. Press Move
