Deleting a Knowledge Item

You can delete knowledge items that are out of date or you no longer need. You can delete an item if you own it or are an account admin. To delete a knowledge item, make sure admin mode is enabled.

There are two ways to delete an item. You could:

  1. Open the item
  2. Click Delete Item (see screenshot above)
  3. Click Yes, Delete
Alternatively,
  1. Open the binder where the item is located
  2. Click the trash icon
  3. Confirm you want to delete it

If deleted by accident, cannot retrieve on own, need C8 support. When in doubt, instead of deleting, we recommend changing the item's review date to thirty days or earlier from the current date so it will be hidden from users. See more about changing review dates here.
