Moving a Section

You can change the order of sections within your knowledge base or move a section to a different location, such as a new directory or back to the main knowledge base (if the section is within a directory). Please make sure admin mode is turned on to make changes.

Changing the order of sections

To change the order of sections, make sure admin mode is turned on.

  1. Go to the section
  2. Click the three dots next to it
  3. To move the section up, click Move up. To move the section down, select Move down
  4. Repeat with other sections as needed

Moving a section to a new location

  1. Go to the section that you want to move
  2. Click on the three dots next to it
  3. Click on Move
  4. Select the new location for the section using our move interface. To switch workspaces, use the workspace selector at the top. Click on a directory to open it. If you open a directory, you can return to the main knowledge base using the home icon (or, if you are in a directory within a directory, you can use the directory names next to the home icon to move back a level). Click Move next to the directory you want to move the section to. If you want to move the section to the top-level knowledge base, click Move to Top Level Directory
  5. Click Move in the bottom-right corner of the popup
