Navigating Your Compendium
Using your institution’s Compendium, you can quickly find important reference information at a glance, such as drug dosages, CPT codes, protocols and lab reference values.
Your Compendium is organized into sections, compendium binders, and directories.
Sections are overarching categories of information. For example, in the image below, Codes is the name of the section.
Compendium binders hold individual compendium items. Compendium items are little snippets of information, like individual CPT codes. Compendium binders have a beaker icon. For example, AAA — Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair in the image below is a compendium binder.
Directories contain sections and binders. They’re represented by blue folder icons.
To find content in your Compendium, use the following steps:
- Open your Compendium
- Select a directory to open it if the content you need is within it
- Select a compendium binder to open it and view the content inside
