Uploading New Documents as Smart Formats

In addition to drafting new guidance in our content editor, you can also convert files to Smart Formats when initially uploading a PDF, Word document or PowerPoint presentation.

To convert existing content to Smart Formats, follow the steps here.

C8 Health uses AI to convert your documents into Smart Formats

Smart Formats transforms documents into easy-to-navigate, mobile-friendly, and actionable formats. They have an integrated table of contents, so users can quickly scan through your best practices. It’s easy to embed links, pictures, tables, and more into them! Click here to learn more.

To get started, make sure admin mode is enabled.

  1. Go to the binder where you want the link to be added 
  2. Click Add New Item
  3. Select Upload Content
  4. Upload your item — drag it into the box or click the box and select the item
  5. Check the Convert to C8 Health smart format box and then press Submit
  6. Look over it to make sure it looks the way you want it! If it doesn’t, you can edit it or revert it back it its original format
  7. (Optional) Change any other fields (like title, owner(s), validation date, content type, specialty, subspecialty, target audience, keywords, expiration date, and featured image)
  8. Choose whether to notify your team with the slider at the top
  9. Click Save
  10. Enjoy your even smarter best practices!

Note: Smart Formats is in Beta mode now, and we’re working on making it even Smarter! If a document looks wonky in Smart Formats, please let us know at support@C8health.com.
